RUN CLUB CHALLENGE

Got a fast club? Got a big club? Want to win a happy hour hosted at the brewery for your club? We got two competitions to find out which club is the fastest and which one is the biggest. The winning clubs will win a happy hour hosted at Peticolas for your respective club for up to 50 guests. The largest team award is pretty self-explanatory, but the fastest team award will be based on the average time of your five fastest members of your team. Packet Pick-Up

THERE IS NO RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP

That is right, there is no race day packet pick up and registration closes on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 3:00 PM. You must come to one of the advance packet pick ups and the schedule is:

• Saturday, April 11, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peticolas, 1301 Pace Street, Dallas, TX 75027 (Following the social run/walk)
• Tuesday, April 21, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at On Your Left!, 10606 Shady Trail, Suite 104, Dallas, TX 75220
• Wednesday, April 22, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Academy Sports & Outdoors, 4000 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75035
• Thursday, April 23, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Academy Sports & Outdoors, 6375 E. Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75231
• Friday, April 24, from11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Peticolas, 1301 Pace Street, Dallas, TX 75027

Velvet Hammer 5K Race Day Scoop

7:00 AM - Event opens
8:30 AM – 5K Start (don't be late, the start line is only open until 8:35 AM)
9:00 AM – Treble Hook hits the stage
10:00 AM – Awards
11:00 AM – Last call
11:30 AM – Event ends

Velvet Hammer 5K Course

Set in the Dallas' Design District the USATF Certified 5K course will wind through the various shops and studios as well along the warehouse district adjacent to the Trinity River.

Awards will be presented and results tabulated based on chip time.

Award Categories

Overall Male and Overall Female, First Place Masters Male and First Place Masters Female and the top three finishers, male and female in the following age groups: 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
